Def Leppard Biography and Event Details

Formed in Sheffield, England, in 1977, Def Leppard became one of the defining bands of hard rock's arena era. The group's core lineup features vocalist Joe Elliott, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, bassist Rick “Sav” Savage, and drummer Rick Allen. Albums including Pyromania and Hysteria helped establish their signature blend of big choruses, layered production, and enduring hooks. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.

Expect a set rooted in classic favorites such as “Rock of Ages,” “Photograph,” “Hysteria,” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” though the exact setlist for this date has not been confirmed. Def Leppard's large-scale shows are known for arena-sized lighting and video production, giving the songs a suitably expansive presentation. Their history also carries a story of resilience: Rick Allen continued as the band's drummer after losing an arm in a 1984 car accident.

The March 19 performance is the announced Nashville date at Bridgestone Arena, with Goo Goo Dolls and The Struts listed as fellow performers. Nashville's long-standing music culture makes the city a natural setting for a night centered on enduring rock songs and live performance.

Venue and Seating Information

Bridgestone Arena is a major indoor event venue in downtown Nashville. Its arena layout offers a choice between floor seating close to the stage and elevated sections with a broader view of the full production. For a concert featuring large video screens and lighting, elevated seats can provide a useful perspective on the overall show, while floor locations put fans closer to the performers.

Seat views and sightlines vary by section and stage configuration. Review the event's seating map before choosing tickets, especially if proximity to the stage or an unobstructed view is a priority. Prices currently start around $120, with popular locations and premium options potentially costing more.

Parking Information

Parking availability and rates can vary by event and garage, so check current signs and booking details before arriving. Downtown garages and surface lots offer options within walking distance, while arriving early can help with traffic and space availability.
